On Friday, September 6 I will “commit myself for life to membership and mission” with the Paulist Fathers, and the following morning I will be ordained a deacon.
I am thrilled to make this promise to live as a Paulist after six years of sharing common life and ministry with the brothers. The sacraments of ordination and marriage are both considered “sacraments of service” because they strengthen people to share God’s love in special ways. As a deacon, I will be devoted to preaching and serving the poor. I will be able to baptize infants and witness marriages in the name of the Church.
Below are the details of the events for those able to come celebrate with me in Washington, DC.
